Music of our Lives.... Revisited!

Okay, so let's have a debate. 1977 could very well be the best year in terms of the release of music ever! Here is my list of the ten best albums from that year (not in any particular order). Don't think I'm right? Come on... prove me wrong!!

Steely Dan “Aja”- Contains one of my favorite Steely Dan tunes... “Peg”

Jimmy Buffet “Changes in L attitude, Changes in Attitude” - Over the last 15 years the title song has meant more to me with each passing year.

Meat Loaf “Bat out of Hell” - “Paradise by the Dashboard Lights” Epic rock!

Fleetwood Mac “Rumours” - One of my all time favorite albums

Billy Joel “The Stranger” - Same holds true for the one... Billy at his very best. Love the story telling of “Scenes from an Italian Restaurant”

Crosby Stills and Nash “CSN” - Graham Nash's “Just a Song Before I Go” has great guitar licks from Stephen Stills and those trademark tight harmonies.

James Taylor “JT” - Contains one of my favorite non famous JT songs, “Secrets O Life” Check it out.

Eric Clapton “Slow Hand” - Another great album in a line of great albums... “Wonderful Tonight”... yep... most excellent for sure.

Styx “The Grand Illusion” - Four to the eight tracks are Styx classics... “Come Sail Away” for sure!

Queen “News of the World” - “We Will Rock You / We are the Champions” enough said.

Yes... our year was THE YEAR!!!!!

Go Eagles!
